What is an undertone?

An undertone is the color beneath the surface of your skin, which never changes (even with a tan). There are three types of undertones:

Pink/Cool

I see red or pink undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin burns easily, but barely tans.
My skin looks better in silver jewelry than gold.

Neutral

I see both pink and yellow undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin sometimes burns and sometimes tans.
My skin looks good in both gold and silver jewelry.

Yellow/Warm

I see yellow or golden undertones around the perimeter of my face and neck.
My skin rarely burns, but tans easily.
My skin looks better in gold jewelry than silver.

Usage

Open your lip balm to expose the top 1/2 inch of the bullet

Because it’s packed with nourishing oils, we recommend applying directly to dry/unprepped lips for better results

Start at the center of your lips and work towards the corners

Reapply throughout the day when needed or for an added intensity

"The “Flutter” balm ph changing quality is more subtle than I expected, but the color is pretty bubblegum or soft pink. Love that this is a scent-free product. At times, I feel like this has too much gloss and not enough color But the dealbreaker for me is the glitter flecks. I had assumed “shimmer” means shine (especially looking at photos online), but it means tiny glittery flecks. The balm would be worth a try in the other color, Papillon."
